Again Modi
PM Modi praised his government’s foreign policy and claimed that although the elections are scheduled for May, he has already started receiving invitations from other countries for visits after the polls.
He stated, “When I took the oath in 2014, critics said that Modi has no experience outside Gujarat. Much was said about the foreign policy. However, recently, I visited the UAE and Qatar. The whole world is witnessing how our relations with many countries have strengthened. Five Arab countries have bestowed their highest honors. This is not just the honor of PM Modi but the honor of all 1.4 billion Indians.”
PM Modi remarked, “The elections are yet to take place, but invitations from other countries for visits from July to September have already come to us. This means they know that Modi will come.”
PM Narendra Modi, speaking about the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, stated, “We have put an end to the wait of five centuries. The tasks that were pending for centuries, we have shown the courage to resolve them. In Ayodhya, we have put an end to the wait of five centuries by initiating the construction of the grand Ram Temple. In Pavagadh, Gujarat, after 500 years, the religious flag has been hoisted, and after seven decades, the Kartarpur Sahib corridor has been opened.”
During this address, he also addressed the abrogation of Article 370, which granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir and was effectively revoked in August 2019.
PM Modi remarked, “After a wait of seven decades, the country has been liberated from Article 370.”
The way he sought a third term…
The Prime Minister stated that in the past ten years, his government has worked towards improving the lives of the poor and the middle class, and there is still much more to be done in this direction.
He said, “I am not someone who lives for my own happiness and prosperity. I am not seeking a third term for the enjoyment of power. If I only cared about my own household, I wouldn’t have been able to build homes for millions of poor people. I live for the future of the country’s millions of children.”
PM Modi mentioned that his government has been concerned about women and marginalized communities, which no one thought about before. He stated that those who were never asked, “We not only asked them but also revered them.”
He said, “We launched a movement for the nutrition of women. We implemented schemes to ensure necessary nutrition during pregnancy. We established strict punishment for heinous crimes like rape. I am the first Prime Minister who raised issues like sanitation from the Red Fort.”
